




ABOUT ME
Rick Lemieux worked as a Police Officer for 20 years and left policing to pursue a comedy career. Rick uses humour to shed light on the challenges and absurdities of police work, as well as to provide a unique perspective on law enforcement. Rick released his first comedy album in 2023, which is available on all streaming platforms. He also started the Timmins Comedy Festival and has helped to raise thousands of dollars for non-for-profit organizations.
Constable Rick worked as the Community Policing officer in schools between 2004 and 2018. While in the schools, he did presentations on anti-bullying, bicycle safety as well as many other topics. He also became a D.A.R.E. officer in 2004 as well as a D.A.R.E. mentor in 2007. Rick has delivered hundreds of presentations to students from Kindergarten through to the 12th grade. He has also trained over 500 officers from the O.P.P., the R.C.M.P as well as many city police officers.

Constable Rick is the author of two books entitled “The Bully and the Bystander” and "A Good Circle of Friends". In March 2013, a DVD featuring Constable Rick, George Stroumboulopoulos as well as many other guests was released. This DVD covers topics such as “When to Call 911”, “Having a Positive Attitude” and “Reporting Bullying”. In 2012 he received the Queens Diamond Jubilee medal as well as the Rotary Club Paul Harris Award for the work that he does to empower our youth to make safe and healthy choices. In 2024, Rick received The King Charles III Coronation Medal.

Rick is a father of 2 children Nicholas (21) and Sophie (11) and has been married to his wife Manon since 2002.
